Basically EMS is an EMS podcast for everyone. Our goal is to give current or future emergency medical personnel of all different certification levels basic information in a more relaxed atmosphere. Introducing a new segment called Lights and Stories where we dive into stories of our time in the field along with what we took away from each encounter! We hope this new short format will be a great resource in addition to our normal Podcast! We hope these stories are entertaining as well as helpful in your journey through being a provider in the field.
In this episode we listen to Chris and Chris talk about a pediatric drowning and how the responders took care of their mental health as well as how the department responded to this tragic event.
Many of us at IMA have lost a friend, coworker or fellow first responder to suicide. There is help out there, we are not in this alone.
